Disclosure

This page covers the money. By the end you should know where our revenue comes from, how that could affect the content, and the lines we drew for ourselves.

In one line: this site carries Binance referral links. If you sign up through one we may receive a share of commission. It does not cost you more, and signing up with the invite code can get you a fee discount (the actual proportion is whatever Binance's current page shows and may change).

Where the referral links appear

We set explicit limits and are writing them here so you can check them:

  • Coded links appear only on conversion pages such as the signup guide, and at most one per page.
  • Informational articles, tool pages and policy pages carry no coded links. Where an exchange link appears on those, it is an editorial reference to a fee schedule or help document and never carries a referral code.
  • There are no exchange links in the navigation or the footer.
  • The home page carries no exchange link at all — only the invite code itself, which you can copy and enter on the official site yourself.

Why bother with rules like these? Because a site that funnels on every page is no longer written for its readers. Concentrating the commercial element on the few pages that genuinely warrant it is what keeps the rest clean.

The invite code

The code this site uses is BN6987. You can use a link that carries it, or open the Binance site yourself and type the code into the referral field during signup — the two are equivalent.

One thing to know: the code has to be entered at the moment the account is created, and generally cannot be attached afterwards. Details in the signup guide.

Does this cost you anything

No. The discount comes out of the trading fee the platform was already charging — the platform shares part of it with the referrer, and the referrer can pass some back to you. It is not an additional charge placed on you.

One thing worth saying that many sites leave out: a fee discount applies to fees, not to outcomes. If your trading loses money, saving on fees does not change that. Treating a fee discount as the main reason to open an account has the priorities backwards.

What we refuse

  • Paid inclusion, sponsored articles, paid positive coverage. Not one article here was written for money.
  • Buying or selling links.
  • Any platform reviewing or requesting changes to our content. The presence of a referral link does not soften what we write about a platform's problems.

Our relationship with exchanges

To be explicit: this is an independently operated information site. It is not an exchange, not any platform's official website, and has no affiliation, agency or representative relationship with any exchange. We hold no one's funds and cannot make commitments on any platform's behalf.

Exchange names and links appear here because the content requires them, and because of the referral arrangement described above. That is the whole of it.

How to check we are doing what we said

This part matters more to us than the declaration itself: the rules above are verifiable.

Open any informational article on this site and look for an exchange link carrying a ref= parameter. By our rules there should not be one. If you find something that does not match what is written here, we got it wrong — please tell us, and we will fix it and log it in corrections.

Risk notice: crypto prices move violently and you can lose everything you put in. Nothing here is investment, legal or tax advice. Some jurisdictions restrict crypto assets — check the current rules where you are.
