Answer seven questions about what you have actually done. Three months is a review window, not a legal period. The result organises facts to check; it cannot measure proximity to an offence or a licensing requirement.

1. In the last three months, how many different people have sent you money to change?
2. Among them, has anyone come to you through an introduction rather than knowing you already?
3. Do you have a settled way of quoting, such as a fixed markup over the market?
4. Have you earned a spread or charged a fee on these?
5. Do you keep funds, inventory or a separate card specifically for this?
6. Have you told people you can do this, or posted something to that effect in a group?
7. Has it settled into a regular frequency, such as most weeks?

What it tests, and how to read the result

What it is testing

The questions collect frequency, counterparties, quotes and charges so you can explain the facts to a qualified adviser. They are not an exhaustive set of statutory elements, and need not all be present before a permission requirement can arise. No fee, or only familiar counterparties, does not by itself establish an exemption.

How the score works

Each answer carries some points, and the total is your self-check score. It is not a probability that anything is illegal. We set the points and the bands from experience, only to suggest what to check first; no regulator has approved them and no statistics stand behind them. Counts, frequency and points are not legal safe harbours.

The three bands indicate review priority only: fewer items, several items, or an authorisation review first. None determines that an activity is lawful, unlawful or exempt.

Why this is not a legal conclusion

Because a real assessment looks at the full facts and evidence — statements, messages, scale — against specific provisions and how they are applied in practice. This tool can point you in a direction; it cannot tell you an answer. If your result lands in the middle or upper band, the right next step is a lawyer qualified in Kazakhstan, not more reading online.

What happens to your answers

Everything is computed in your browser. The tool sends no answers, sets no cookies and writes nothing to local storage. Loading the page still requests styles and fonts, as described in the privacy notice. Questions like these are sensitive, so the design is not to receive the data at all rather than to promise not to look at it.

If you land in the middle band

It means several facts need checking. Do not change customer counts or transfer frequency just to lower the score. Pause unverified services or solicitation, retain the full records and seek locally qualified advice.
